Horizontal
Double swipe → your site
Two quick swipes the same way open the address you gave that direction. Free: one direction. Pro: both.
The touchpad gestures your browser forgot.
The same two-finger swipe, flick and pinch you already make. Glidepad turns them into opening a site, going Back, reloading a page and handling tabs.
Your hand already makes all five. Glidepad only decides what they mean.

Horizontal
Nothing is taken away: one swipe still walks browser history. Leave a direction empty and there is no wait at all.
Vertical
The pull-to-refresh movement from your phone. Mid-page it stays ordinary scrolling. A new tab or closing one are yours to pick instead.
Pinch
Spread two fingers over a link and it opens behind what you are reading, like a middle click. Everywhere else, spreading still zooms.
Pinch
Two quick pinches close the tab, only at normal zoom. While a page is zoomed in, pinching gives the zoom back and the tab stays.
glidepad.app has a live pad that runs the real recognizer, and a full touchpad test.
Every threshold and the swipe takeover are free and stay free. Pro is the second half of each pair.

Cancel any time from the link in your receipt. Pro keeps working until the paid period ends. Prices in USD; whether tax is added depends on where you are, and the total is shown before you pay.
No account, no telemetry. The free version makes one request on install; Pro adds a licence check about once a day. Both go to glidepad.app and nowhere else.
Chrome and Edge, built and tested on Windows with a precision touchpad. A Firefox build ships once it has had the same testing. macOS is not verified yet.
No. On the vertical axis Glidepad only watches. Sideways it steps in only when there is nothing left to scroll under the pointer.
Because a second swipe might still be coming. The wait is 450 ms by default and yours to change; a direction with no site assigned has no wait at all.
Glidepad is made and supported by Ivan Korost, working alone. Payment runs through a merchant of record that handles VAT and sales tax; its name is on the checkout and on the receipt.
